This privacy policy sets out how FundsIndiaPartner and Wealth India Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. (WIFS) uses and protects any information that you share when you use this application.


WIFS is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected at all times. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this application, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.


WIFS may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. This policy is effective from March 1, 2022.


WHAT WE COLLECT

We may collect the following information:

  1. Name, residential / correspondence address, telephone number, date of birth, marital status, email address, mobile number and other contact information
  2. Other personal information, including bank account number, Aadhaar Number (redacted), and Permanent Account Number (PAN)
  3. Demographic information such as gender, income, occupation information, father's and mother's name, nominee details
  4. KYC related information through videos, selfies, etc.
  5. Uploaded images of cheque leaf, signature, identity proof, address proof, income proof, photo etc.
  6. Recorded interactions via email, chatbot, online chat, WhatsApp, surveys, social media platforms, etc.
  7. Other non-personal information that can help us improve our services
    • the device, the browser, the operating system being used to access website or mobile app
    • location, IP address, device manufacturer, and other unique identifiers of the device
    • Information collected via cookies, pixel tags or similar electronic tools on our websites and emails

We may also retrieve information from other third-party sources such as (but not limited to) the CDSL KRA, Central KYC Registry (CKYC), NDML, DigiLocker, Credit Bureau, etc.


AADHAAR USER CONSENT POLICY

The act of providing Aadhaar details is voluntary in nature, and will be needed only for the purposes of opening the customer's investment account online, and for digitally signing the Investment Services or Account Opening forms. The Aadhaar details may also be uploaded as one of the acceptable address proofs (in lieu of driver's license or Passport). If the customer is not comfortable in providing the Aadhaar details at the time of account opening, they can choose to submit the account opening form physically along with alternate supporting documents.


WIFS does not store the entire or complete Aadhaar number on our servers. If the customer shares a copy of the Aadhaar, then the numbers are redacted before storage. During the account opening process, customers may be asked to provide the Aadhaar information in DigiLocker website (in order to fetch digital Aadhaar) or in NSDL website (in order to digitally sign the Account Opening forms). By sharing the Aadhaar details in these websites, WIFS only receives information limited to the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number, full name, date of birth, gender, address, photo and/or digitally signed document.


WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER

We use the personal information and non-personal information for the following purposes.

  1. Conduct Know-Your-Customer (KYC) registration as required by SEBI and/or other regulatory bodies
  2. Facilitate the various investment services provided by us
  3. Share the information as required by SEBI and/or other regulatory bodies with SEBI / NSE / BSE / Depositories / Asset Management Companies of Mutual Funds (AMCs) / Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTAs) / Banks / Payment Aggregators / KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs), etc. solely for the purpose of processing your financial and non-financial transactions
  4. Share the information to our NBFC partners (as the case may be) while investing in fixed deposit products
  5. Perform periodic compliance checks and keep/maintain internal records
  6. Customise the content on our platform
  7. Improve our products and service offerings to our customers
  8. Provide customers with relevant product and service offers via email, SMS, push notifications, WhatsApp, etc.
  9. Intimate, deliver transactional alerts and other communication relevant to our customers
  10. Send emails to the registered email address about customer's investments, or other information which we think our customers may find interesting. You will be free to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time if you do not wish to receive such emails from us.
  11. Deal with customer enquiries and/or complaints, and to troubleshoot any problems
  12. Contact you via phone or email for market research purposes, seek feedback on new products or services, etc.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required to share such information under the terms and conditions of the products and services you avail, or we are required to do so by law or regulation.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. More


HOW WE USE COOKIES
